I love everything about travel. Being in an airport gets me excited. Ok, maybe the time I spent 18 hrs in Charles de Gaule was a too much of a good thing but generally, it's a happy place for me. When I was little, I would sit at my bedroom window and watch the lights of planes crossing the night sky. I adored it. Trying to imagine what it was like inside and where the people on board they were going was the most romantic activity I could think of. The defamiliarization of being outside of time and beyond borders completely enchanted me. It still does. I still get a thrill thinking of it.

Starting the day with warm cup of tea from a lovely thrifted teapot. What else could I do on a rainy Saturday morning?

Is it too early to start thinking about Halloween? Yeah, maybe . I adore summer and would move to where summer never ends in a heartbeat. Having said that, I am passionately in love with fall and particularly with Halloween. There are several reasons for this wild pash. I'll detail them thoroughly once the season has truly arrived. The festival in question will likewise get due coverage.
I blame
these premature thoughts on the crows. They're everywhere and I find them fascinating. In the height of summer they're just big black birds. But when school supplies are on sale and sweaters are in shop windows, they take on a different character. Now they augur things to come.

I've been carrying on a love affair with ceramics for awhile now. I've got quite a little collection going. Mostly I enjoy random vintage finds, pedigree optional. Lately though, I've been crushing on Heath Ceramics. Simply gorgeous. See more here.

breezy

Two pages have been written, it's time to goof off! I've just discovered Polyvore. What a brilliant way to stall. I can foresee lots of virtual outfits and lots of
time wasted.
My last undergraduate essay is due tomorrow and I can't get myself started. It's only five pages and pretty much just a close reading. But I'm so very done. The MA starts in 2 weeks and I just don't care about this last formality anymore.
